Gettin' Started

So Jamie and I have decided that our official move-in date will be Saturday, December 19th. Even though we technically can move in a week earlier, Jamie has finals all that week, so we thought we'd wait until that stress was over to begin a whole new level of stress! LOL, nah, it's going to be so much fun, I can't wait! We are going to have a lot of people helping us move, so Jamie thought it would be fun to get a keg or two for the boys, get some BBQ going, and make it a moving party! That should get everyone motivated!

I was veggin' on the couch last night being super lazy, and I began to realize, "Hey, we are moving in 3 weeks!" so I got up and started packing up some stuff! I LOVE PACKING! Here are our first boxes.

Oh dear, you know someone is obsessed when they start taking pictures of BOXES. I don't care, I'm so happy! YAY!

Well, the day has finally come...Jamie and I are officially HOMEOWNERS! I can't beleive it! I am sooooo incredibly happy, I just can't stand the excitement! It has been a very long and drawn out process; mountains of paperwork and months of waiting. Now it looks like all of our patience and hard work have finally paid off!

I can't wait to move in! We don't have an official move-in date as of yet, but it will be around the 15th of December. So Jamie and I will be able to have our first Christmas in our new house! YAY! And with Thanksgiving being tomorrow, we definitely have a lot to be thankful for!

Like I said before, I am going to be posting a lot more frequently now that we finally have the ball rolling on our move. This is a huge part of our lives, and I want to document every little thing! (No matter how annoyed Jamie gets with my constant picture taking! He hates taking pictures) So I hope everyone has an amazing long weekend. I know I will!

Bad Romance

I am absolutely in LOVE with Lady Gaga! She is so talented and edgy, I just adore her. Check out her new video if you haven't seen it yet. It's really dark and it kind of makes you feel weird, but that is what I love about it. And her outfits! Truly amazing.

Shake It!

I am so in love with the new "Shake It" iPhone application. It's like having a poloroid camera in your phone! You just take a picture, and it comes up looking like a fresh poloroid. Then you shake it to make the image appear! How cute is that?!?! Here are some shots I took from the view of our friends' cabin in Big Bear this weekend using Shake It.

How cool is this?!? I love Alice in Wonderland, and this remix is so neat, I keep watching it over and over again!

We Are Buying a House!!!

Something big is happening right now...my husband and I are buying our first house! Yay! I cannot believe it, I never thought I would be a home owner at the age of 26, but it looks like I will be! I have to say though, this wouldn't be possible right now if it wasn't for this "first time home buyer stimulus" that is going on this year. So THANK YOU OBAMA! :D We should be signing papers sometime this week, and then escrow should close shortly after that. I CAN'T WAIT! Two and a half years of being married and living with roommates (can you imagine???) and we can finally properly start our lives together.

Jamie and I are going to be doing a lot to this house, so I will be posting a lot of pictures, design ideas, and before-and-after shots. I have a lot of ideas running through my head, and I will be documenting them all, so stay tuned!

My First Blog!

Hello out there! My name is Heather, and this is my very first blog! I am so excited to start getting into the blogging world. I have been thinking about it for a long time now, but I finally got the courage to actually do it! A while back, my best friend Courtney sent me an email and told me to follow the link to the cutest blog she has ever seen. Ever since then, I have been hooked!
